Featured: Preston Hollow
After: Large hardscape areas of decomposed granite and river rock make the landscaping less water dependent. New focal points include raised stucco concrete planters, a metal art piece, and Japanese maples. The new horizontal fence features black posts in the side yard and in the new herb garden.
Before: An updated 1950's home with mature trees and an oversized lot. The homeowners want less grass, more gardening space and a fun, contemporary look. 
In Progress: Wanting a unique & welcoming space, we install a 'puzzle' piece walkway, a combination decomposed granite and concrete driveway and we enlarge the beds for lots of shade friendly plants in front.
Featured: Oak Lawn Heights
After: the design includes native buffalo grass and other water wise plants, plus a custom
built greenhouse to accentuate this beautiful and unique property.
Before: a newly purchased home with an overgrown yard. The homeowners cleared the entire
lot of weeds, shrubs and some trees.
In Progress: working closely with the clients, Zone 8 Landscapes designs a new backyard. After grading the lot, the implementation of the pea gravel planting area, the decomposed granite pathway and flagstone patio are completed.
